INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ART. 12 ET SEQ. REG. EU 2016/679, REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. (hereinafter the "Company"), based in Via Emilio Salgari, 17 41123 Modena – Italy, owner of the website https://www.peopletools.it/ (hereinafter the "Site"), hereby provides the following privacy information pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, as the data controller of the personal data voluntarily provided by users through the completion of data collection forms on the Websites (hereinafter "Users"). The Company holds the right to privacy and the protection of personal data of its Users in the highest regard. For any information regarding this privacy policy, Users may contact PEOPLE LABS S.R.L. at any time using the contact details provided in paragraph 8 below. The Company may modify this privacy policy based on legislative or regulatory requirements, or to adapt said policy to instructions issued by the competent Authorities. Therefore, periodic review is recommended. In particular, the following information is provided.
1. DATA CATEGORIES
Navigation Data The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the site acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow for user identification. This category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, and other parameters related to the user's operating system. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to ensure its correct functioning.
Data Provided Voluntarily by the User The data subject may voluntarily provide the information requested for the provision of services by filling out the data collection forms on the platform or by sending an email to the indicated address. Essential identifying data (e.g., name; surname; physical and/or contact details) may be collected. The controller will not collect or process "special categories of personal data" as per Art. 9 of the Privacy Regulation (e.g., health status).
Cookies The Websites use cookies to monitor if the user has visited them before, to load preferences (language, screen size, etc.), and to collect statistical data. This allows the Websites to be more responsive to user needs and easier to navigate.
2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS
Processing will be carried out for the following purposes:
a. Provision of the service voluntarily requested (e.g., quotes; commercial proposals; pre and post-service assistance). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) of the Privacy Regulation, as processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, and to fulfill legal obligations.
b. Sending informative and promotional communications, advertising material, market research, or surveys via email, SMS, or phone. The legal basis for this purpose is the explicit and free consent of the data subject pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a).
3. NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
Providing data for purpose 2(a) is mandatory; refusal will make it impossible to provide the requested service. Provision for purpose 2(b) is optional and requires explicit consent, which can be revoked at any time.
4. PROCESSING METHODS AND RETENTION PERIOD
Data is processed using magnetic, electronic, and digital tools. No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects is performed. Personal data will be kept only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with the principle of minimization.
5. COMMUNICATION
Your data may be shared with:
- Consultants (tax, IT service providers, etc.) specifically appointed;
- Public authorities if required by law;
- Third-party companies providing functional services to the Controller. A list of Data Processors is available upon request at the addresses in point 8.
6. DATA TRANSFER ABROAD
User data may be transferred outside the national territory within the EU for the purposes stated in Art. 2. Third-party cookie policies remain unaffected.
7. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Pursuant to Reg. EU 2016/679, you may exercise the following rights: Access (Art. 15), Rectification (Art. 16), Erasure (Art. 17), Restriction (Art. 18), Portability (Art. 20), and Objection (Art. 21 & 22). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the national Supervisory Authority (Garante Privacy).
